About 3 months ago during the 1st season of the Lucky Streak, we showed you the approximate numbers of spins it would take to ruby master the event . The data posted was pretty consistent with player feedback. While getting to the bottom of a loot item mystery, it was necessary to master the 3rd version of this event . Since I needed to do that, I kept track of how many spins were required. The good news is it took about 1,000 reward points less than the 1st season but the bad news for collectors is you will have to do the event 2 times to get all of the possible loot items. I purchased 100 spins totaling 1,200 reward points to start this experiment
Thankfully there is a ‘Spin 5 Times’ option so this didn’t take very long. I doubt there is demand for a script! The first 5 spins came out great, I got 3 numbered items.
The next 5, not so much. Are they trying to tell me it’s time to go to the dentist?
It took 30 spins to get the bronze mastery item.
I kept spinning and spinning until all 100 spins were gone. I hit gold mastery and on the last 5 spins got the 2nd ‘Super Rare’ item.
Zynga knows how to get the OCD players. Who could live with this!
I ran the Inventory History to see all the items I got for 100 spins. The distribution is as Zynga claims.
Although it appears that last item would take as many spins as the first 11, I knew better and purchased 100 more spins. It took all 100 to finally get the Dons Best item bringing the total to 200 spins.
Running the Inventory History once again, it was interesting that I got the Dons Best item but 0 Super Rare items. The distribution of the common, uncommon and rare items was about the same.
You would think after spending this many reward points, Zynga would let you keep all 4 mastery items. You only get the best one.
Once you master the event, you get the option to reset.
One you click the reset button, all items you earned from the previous round go back to gray and do not apply towards progress of the next round. You lose all of your check marks too.
One thing that happens and is a rude thing for Zynga to do to collectors is they change the Dons Best item. If a collector or any player who is OCD about having all the loot items already spent 2,400 reward points to get all of the items, they aren’t going to be happy to see they need to do it again. That 2nd Dons Best item will most likely take another 2,400 reward points or more to acquire.
Before you go around calling me crazy for spending the reward points to make this post or a liar after you snoop my inventory, I did use a test account that has plenty of reward points and plenty of levels to be had. I needed to find out about the Cooped In and doing so served 2 purposes.
