Many players are becoming reacquainted with the annoying Operation. popups. To stop this, don’t remove the Operation from the popup. Many deleted all of their old Operations for The Italian Files Operations Event and are now getting the popups once a day while doing jobs. This popup is not like others because it’s not easy to close out. If you click the X, there is a confirmation window and if you click “Start Operation”, you are directed to the Operations page. All you need to do is refresh the game and it will disappear. If you don't want to wait for a reload, click on the ZMC or free gift page and close it out and the popup (thanks to Gavin Thea for that tip). Once your queue is full (some players report that you only need 6 but this is not true for all players), you will no longer get this popup. Zynga should remove these old has been Operations because they serve no purpose other than to irritate players while they are trying to do jobs. The Bandits also serve the same purpose so Zynga shouldn’t worry about that. If they don’t want to remove them, they could at least update the loot.

ReplyDeleteI finished the Italy operations the day they came out, quickly filled my queue to 6 using the same method of not starting the op and refreshing my game.I haven't gotten a popup since.Im sure you could max it out but I think after you get 6 you won't get anymore
ReplyDeleteeasy way is click the "zynga massage center" or free gift...u dont have to refresh it...

ReplyDeleteThank you for noticing the space limits in the Ops queue and passing it along. I will try this. My major grief with the Operations popup is that it comes when I am doing jobs to increase my stash of City currency. While I am dealing with the popup by closing it, or by your method, I remain vulnerable to robbery because I can't get to my bank as fast as I need to. I have been keeping the deposit popup open while I do jobs, but the OPs popup takes precedence. So does the level-up bonus popup.

DeleteI'm pretty sure that what you need in order for them to stop popping up is one of each kind that still pops up. I haven't seen a Rudolph or Ball opp pop up for me in a looooooong time.

Aren't there still achievements that you can get from Opps? I have them all (and have had them for a loooooooong time) but how do newer players get them if not by these old tired opps?
That could be and is probably why the numbers are different. True on the achievements if you believe there are new players :) it would be better for them too if the Operations provided useful loot. The crap being offered wouldn't even help a Level 1 account. Plus I would imagine its hard to get enough people to finish them for you.
