District 6 of London offers a job called Organize A Raid On The gang Hideout. It’s the one that produces Microchips. At first glance there doesn’t appear to be anything unusual about it.

When you examine the “Do Job” button, you will noticed that the spelling of Organise is in UK English. This is fine since London is in England.
Now comes the Zynga part. If you read the job description, the word is spelled Organize. If they are going to deviate from American English spelling in the game then they should at least be consistent about it!
Thanks to Brandon Venery for pointing out this inconsistency. I did notice the job button right away but not the fact that it was spelled different in the description.
the real question: which pone is the typo? lol.
ReplyDeleteLOL Brutus, you made a typo in your comment :)
DeleteSo did you loot lady.
ReplyDelete' If they are going to deviate from American English spelling in the game then they should at least me consistent about it!'
At least me consistent?
Ok.
"at least me consistent about it?" lol
ReplyDeleteLOL, fixed. The difference is I'm not getting paid the big bucks and shouldn't be expected to be typo free :)
ReplyDeleteThat's it, I QUIT! I know I've played since week 2 of MW but, I've had it! How could the do such a thing. Damn....oh there are my pills.
ReplyDeleteLOL, that's what finally did you in!!!!!
DeleteWow it must be a slow news day. people are spelling things correctly!
ReplyDeleteOr better still Americans could stop changing the spelling of words. The language is called English for a reason ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's why it is no longer American English, it is now called American Slanglish
DeleteAll your base are belong to us - okay all? ;)
ReplyDeleteAll your base are belong to us - proudly from Zynga for our gaming pleasure!
ReplyDeleteis not a typo, it's just not consistent, that makes me think that Zynga has British English speaking and US English speaking in the designer team and neither would pick up the "typo", as both is correct.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand you could have people who can't spell and made a typo in their own spelling. Whatever it is, if that were the only problems, we'd be smiling to the bank.
are the game title and action button both machine translated in the other languages? or just the game title? that may be the reason for the American spelling... it would be cheaper to keep the same base language for the MT engine.
